A charity night for Chesterfield hospice

We recently sponsored an Elvis tribute night held in aid of Chairman’s Appeal for Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield on Saturday 12th March. Councillor Martin Thacker, Chairman of Northeast Derbyshire District Council, has been fundraising for the hospice since he was appointed to the role of Chairman in April 2021. The hospice provides palliative and end-of-life carefree of charge to people of North Derbyshire living with a life-limiting illness, including cancer, neurological diseases, and end-stage heart, kidney, and lung diseases. Yorkshire housebuilder, Harron Homes, has donated £250 to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, a charity very close to residents at Harron’s Far Grange Meadows development in Selby. The Nottinghamshire local has joined Harron’s North Midlands region as Marketing Coordinator following an extensive career in marketing within the new homes industry. Harron Homes sales executive Olivia Thompson has recently been promoted to sales progressor at the North Midlands head office in Barlborough after just three months at the company. Olivia joined the sales team at Rosendale Gardens in Wickersley, Rotherham as a part time sales executive in October 2021; by the end of that month she started assisting the office based sales progressor and picked up the role so quickly she was the obvious choice for promotion when the opportunity arose in December. The theme of National Apprenticeship Week 2022 is ‘Build the Future’, which is exactly what North Midlands based Harron Homes is aiming for by supporting Ellis Marshall, who is undertaking his bricklaying apprenticeship at its Rosendale Gardens development in Wickersley.
