We have donated £500 to 2nd Bramley Scout Group to support a kitchen renovation at its existing club residence and the launch of a brand-new Scout Active Support Unit.

2nd Bramley Scout Group, which was formed in 1930, run weekly Scout, Beaver and Cubs classes for local children. The group offers an opportunity for children to experience new adventures, interact with other children their age, gain confidence and reach their full potential.

The donation will support materials to replace the existing club’s kitchen and help launch a new centre for Scouts. The Scout Active Support Unit will offer local children the opportunity to learn invaluable life skills and support the community with fundraising and social events.

We recognise the importance of community groups and Bramley Scout Group provides an excellent service to families locally. We are delighted to be able to support them, so they can continue their great work.

Adam Frost, Group Scout Leader at 2nd Bramley Scout Group, commented: “We would like to thank Harron Homes for this donation, it is greatly appreciated. Scouts, Beavers and Cubs are great for children to get involved and have fun, and we believe it is essential for their development. However, to carry on providing these opportunities our building needs repairing to bring it into the 21st century.”
