Last week, we welcomed Bassetlaw District Councillor June Evans to cut the ribbon for the launch of two brand new showhomes at the our Harworth development, Simpson Park.

Councillor Evans, was met by Harron Homes’ North Midlands Sales Manager, Paul Walters, who was on hand to give a tour of the two showhomes, the Nidderdale and the Salcombe.

A thoughtfully designed four-bedroom detached property, the Nidderdale is a spacious and tasteful home well suited to family life. At the heart of this property is an impressive, high-specification kitchen and open-plan dining area, with stylish French doors opening out onto the garden, where residents can entertain guests on cosy evenings. Upstairs there are four double bedrooms, with a large, elegant family bathroom, as well as an en-suite shower for the master bedroom.

The Salcombe is another four-bedroom detached property, with high-end design and modern living as its focus. With a luxurious lounge perfect for those snug evenings in, and a stylish family room that can function as a play area or even a study, the Salcombe adapts to the taste and needs of your family. Four bedrooms, all with ample space, make this property a must-have for families looking to find their dream home.

Councillor Evans said: “I was delighted to take part in this ribbon-cutting event. I have always supported the development of Simpson Park and I welcome these quality homes appearing in the Harworth and Bircotes area.”

Natalie Griffiths, Sales and Marketing Director for Harron Homes North Midlands, said: “We were very glad Councillor Evans could join us for the launch of the stunning showhomes.  Simpson Park is a lovely development with a lot of history, and we can’t wait to see it become a vibrant community.”

At Simpson Park, residents can enjoy reconnecting with nature at the numerous nearby rural trails and nature reserves, while the large village of Harworth is only a stone’s throw away, offering plenty of amenities ranging from restaurants and pubs to supermarkets and independent shops.

With easy commuter access to Doncaster, which has recently acquired city status, as well as to Worksop, Rotherham and Sheffield, residents can explore the variety of surrounding towns and cities.

Simpson Park was named after champion cyclist Tom Simpson, who sadly passed away during the 1967 Tour de France while ascending Mont Ventoux.

The development can be found at Simpson Park, Harworth and Bircotes, Nottinghamshire, DN11 8FN and the sales office is open daily from 10:30am until 5:30pm.
