As Selby Primary school’s Year 6 pupils get ready to leave and begin secondary school, we wanted to give them something so that they can keep to always remember their time at primary school. We were very happy to donate £500 to the school, so that the whole class could receive a leavers gift.
Selby Community Primary School had 36 children leaving them this Summer, all of which have been treated to a locally sourced Leavers Hoodie, presented to them at their Leavers Assembly thanks to Harron Homes.
Dawn Proctor, the Fundraising Co-ordinator at Selby Community Primary School said:
“We are extremely thankful to Harron Homes for their support which has allowed us to treat our Year 6 students to leavers’ hoodies.
“We serve the whole of the local community, where not everyone is in a position to purchase leavers gifts such as this one, which makes special treats such as these truly meaningful. The hoodies were presented to our leavers in a special assembly back in July and the kids were absolutely delighted to have something to remember the school by”.
