This Christmas both our Morley and Barlborough offices wore their festive jumpers and raised a brilliant £240 between them.

The funds will be divided between Children with Cancer UK and Save the Children.

Every day more than 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK and is still the most common medical cause of death in children and young people. Established in 1988, Children with Cancer UK has been helping patients and families affected by cancer, funding clinical trials and lifesaving research. Thanks to charities like Children with Cancer UK, childhood cancer survival rates have improved from 67.3% in 1990 to a predicted 85.5% in 2018, and fundraising events like Christmas Jumper Day support their mission to improve the survival rate further.

Save the Children plays a vital role in offering hope to young people who are most in need of it, and we are proud to support them annually. In 2020 they helped 45 million children across the world get the medicine, good food and education they need.

Launched in 2012, Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day sees millions of people wearing their silliest jumpers and donating £2 in support of the impoverished and disadvantaged youngsters from across the globe that the charity works tirelessly for.

Thank you to all our colleagues who enthusiastically participated in Christmas Jumper Day to raise a fantastic sum to assist both charities in continuing their amazing work.
