We teamed up across our head offices in Leeds and Chesterfield to host coffee mornings to support Macmillan on Friday 24th September.
Colleagues across the region brought their best bakes to work to partake in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning through selling cakes and competing in a companywide bake-off. Together we raised £241.85, enough to help run Macmillan’s Online Community forum for about 10 hours, offering people affected by cancer both emotional and practical support.
Nearly all (98%) of Macmillan’s funding comes directly from donations so all contributions make a massive difference to the charity.
Macmillan does such a wonderful job of taking care of people affected by cancer and we’re delighted to support them.
