We saw neighbours up and down the country enjoy King Charles’ Coronation with their own street parties, and our Laughton Gate development in Dinnington, Rotherham was no different. Residents had a fantastic day in their special Coronation t-shirts, decorating their houses with bunting to compete for “best-dressed house.” They even arranged for local MP Alexander Stafford to join in the fun with his family. We have been told his daughters particularly liked the themed cupcakes!
Shleese at Laughton Gate submitted these brilliant photos to our Coronation street party competition and we’re delighted to send a prize gift voucher to the residents to contribute to their upcoming summer BBQ and keep the community spirit alive.
We are also donating a community noticeboard to the development so residents can keep each other updated with what is going on in the area.
Meanwhile our Coronation crown design competition was a great success, and we are delighted to award overall winner Viraj with a treat hamper, while Loxely and Meredyn Crew are to receive a special commemorative bear each for coming second and third.
