Our North Midlands team attended the Help to Buy Nottingham Show on 10th February to give advice to those looking for brand new home

The Help to Buy Nottingham Show took place a couple of weekends ago (Saturday 10th February), at the Nottinghamshire Conference Centre and saw a number of exhibitors from house builders, housing associations, mortgage advisors to solicitors. The show is a great chance for individuals looking to use the Help to Buy scheme to have their questions answered, get free mortgage advice and find out more about the costs involved when buying a new home.

We were delighted to attend the show and offer advice to support for individuals looking to use the scheme. Rachel Sheard, Sales Manager at Harron Homes North Midland, commented:

“The event was a real success – we were able to chat to a large number of visitors and offer information on all North Midlands developments as well as answer questions about our Help to Buy scheme and the incentives we have available to assist home buyers.

“The show was a great chance not only for first-time buyers, but also for people thinking about moving up the property ladder or downsizing to a smaller place with the Help to Buy scheme. We were delighted to be a part of it.”

The Government-backed Help to Buy scheme is available on all our properties and has already assisted half of our home buyers. The scheme aims to make buying a house more affordable and help individuals, especially first-time buyers, get onto the property ladder. Home buyers only need a 5% deposit to buy a Harron Home thanks to a 20% Government backed equity loan, giving a helping hand to many buyers.

There are a number of incentives available when buying a Harron Home, to find out more, visit: http://www.harronhomes.com/purchasing-assistance/
