A district council has given the green light for work on a brand new development of family-sized homes in Mansfield to begin.
Developer Harron Homes was granted planning permission by Mansfield District Council to transform land off Newlands Road into a collection of lovingly-designed, four-bedroom homes exclusively for market sale, subject to providing a number of contributions towards the local area.
The development, which has been named Forest Reach, is due to launch this summer.
As part of the planning agreement, Harron will make contributions towards affordable housing, open spaces, and education in the town, as well as to the local Allotment Scheme.
Among the homes that are coming soon to Forest Reach is the magnificent, detached Baybridge, which features a light and airy living room, a dual-aspect kitchen/diner with double doors leading to the private rear garden, a handy utility room, a guest cloakroom, and an internal garage on its ground floor.
Upstairs, the landing leads to four good-sized bedrooms, one of which comes complete with its own en-suite shower room.
The popular Help to Buy scheme will be available at Forest Reach, enabling first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to make a move to a brand new home with an equity loan of up to 20% of the full price of the property with the Government with just a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The equity loan is interest free for the first five years.
