Aiming to expand and develop our people-centred business, we have recently announced two new promotions for Amanda Thomas and Samantha Corbett as well as the hiring of a new trainee sales executive, Destiny Dean-Beaumont.

Area Sales Manager, Amanda Thomas, has recently been promoted to Senior Sales Manager following her consistent drive to push projects forward through four years of high-quality work at Harron Homes.

A proud team member of Harron Homes, Amanda has worked at the company since April 2019: “I value the fast-paced environment at Harron Homes. There’s a clear sense of purpose here and you always feel like an important part of a team.

“I’ve spent the last six months pushing projects, putting together presentations and seeing them through to completion. I have 20 years’ experience in the industry; what stands out about Harron Homes is its people-based approach; it isn’t tied down by the corporate limitations of big plc companies.”

For recognition of her expertise and commitment, Part Exchange Manager Samantha Corbett has taken on the role of Area Sales Manager. Bringing her niche experience in sales and in-depth understanding of the conveyancing programme to the role, Samantha has been able to contribute a unique perspective to her work.

“Harron Homes feels very much like a people-centred business. It’s not just about numbers and sales; there’s a great emotional investment here which inspires you to progress and make a success of the role.”

Harron Homes has also recruited new trainee sales executive, Destiny Dean-Beaumont. Destiny was encouraged by the great scope for career progression at Harron Homes, as well as the exciting hands-on approach.

“So far, no day has been the same. I spend my time shadowing the sales executive, going to sites and meeting new people too. I’m definitely a people person, and being able to interact with a variety of different employees and customers on a day-to-day business is one of the things that drew me to the job.

“I’m receiving full and comprehensive training while getting hands-on experience, which is something I really value. I want to develop proper expertise in this role so that I can truly help and deliver.

“I’ve really been inspired by hearing about the career progression of other employees at Harron Homes and I’m really looking forward to progressing in this role.”

These three promotions accompany Harron Homes’ recent win of the Bronze Award in the Best Luxury House category at the prestigious WhatHouse? 2022 Awards, for our Berkhamsted home at the Kings Croft development in Killinghall, Harrogate.
