A Harron Homes employee is supporting a Guinness World Record attempt for the fastest Three Peaks completion by an amputee. Funds raised are being donated to Phoenix Heroes CIC, our Charity of the Year.
Daniel Hoole, Operations Engineer at Harron Homes North Midlands, will take part in the challenge from 23rd to 25th May this year. Dan will be part of a team that will together support former World’s Strongest Disabled Man Darren Greenfield, who is attempting to set the record of fastest Three Peaks time for an amputee, completing the challenge in just three days.
Other well-known figures making up the support team include former Special Forces soldier and television personality Billy Billingham, as well as three-time World Champion angler Rob Hughes.
The funds raised for the challenge will go towards Phoenix Heroes CIC, a veterans’ charity supporting those affected by PTSD through access to therapy, housing, employment support and long-term recovery services. Daniel, Darren, Billy, and Rob are all ambassadors for the charity.
We have supported the effort by sponsoring the team’s challenge T-shirts, helping to raise visibility for the fundraising campaign throughout the Three Peaks Challenge.
Earlier this year, we named Phoenix Heroes CIC as its Charity of the Year for 2026, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the armed forces community.

Phoenix Heroes CIC has supported more than 1,000 veterans to date, helping individuals rebuild their lives through structured programmes designed to reduce isolation and promote long-term wellbeing.
