Two of our standout site managers have once again been honoured with the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job award, recognising the exceptional standards they uphold on site day in, day out.
48-year-old Paul Jezusek, who manages our De Maulay Manor development in New Rossington, and 53-year-old Richard Hutchinson, based at Shipley Lakeside in Heanor, have both received the award for the second year in a row, putting them among the top 5% of site managers across the country.
The NHBC Pride in the Job award is one of the most highly regarded accolades in the industry, spotlighting leadership, consistency and build quality across every stage of a development.
Richard, who lives in Killamarsh, Derbyshire, served in the military before making the move into housebuilding, where he’s progressed through a number of site roles. He joined Harron nearly three years ago and now leads the Shipley Lakeside team – a role that continues to showcase his attention to detail and hands-on leadership.
Richard said: “It’s an amazing feeling to receive this award again. It means the world to be recognised for something I put so much into.
“I’ve been lucky to work with an incredible team at Shipley Lakeside, and I can’t thank them enough, especially my assistant Jamie Lacey and our contracts manager Adam Pickering, who have both been solid from the very start.
“Harron has been a fantastic place to grow my career, and I’m proud to contribute to the high-quality homes we build.”

Paul began his construction career straight out of school as an apprentice joiner, going on to work across both new builds and refurbishments before joining Harron five years ago. He was promoted to site manager after just two and a half years.
Paul said: “Winning this award a second time feels just as special, if not more so, than the first win. It’s a great feeling to know that the effort we all put in is recognised by the NHBC.
“I’ve got a brilliant team here at De Maulay Manor, and it really is a team effort from start to finish. Watching a site develop and eventually seeing happy families move in is one of the most rewarding parts of the job.”
