Derbyshire housebuilder, Harron Homes is supporting local business with a donation to Matlock Farm Park.

Just a five minute drive from Harron’s Thornberries development, Matlock Farm Park is a fantastic day out for the whole family with activities varying from horse riding to lamb feeding.

The wallabies are a firm favourite of all visitors and Harron is donating £200 of food to ensure they don’t go hungry while the farm has no source of visitor income.

Fortunately the fun hasn’t come to a halt under lockdown. Keeper George has hosted a video tour exclusively for Harron Homes, showing different areas of the park and allowing guests to virtually experience activities including lamb feeding, small animal handling, and of course a wallaby encounter!

The video is available via Harron’s Facebook and Instagram pages and at the bottom of this page.

Abi Bradbury, General Manager at Matlock Farm Park, “We’re delighted to be able to share some of our animals’ antics with the public! Like many businesses, we are struggling under lockdown, so Harron’s support is greatly appreciated.”

Natalie Griffiths, Sales and Marketing Director at Harron Homes North Midlands said, “Community is hugely important to us when selecting locations to base our developments in, so we’re pleased to have this opportunity to contribute to local business.”

Thornberries is a luxury collection of three, four, and five bedroom new homes situated in the stunning location of Matlock. To promote local businesses, all new purchasers at the Thornberries until the end of the year will receive a family day pass to be used once the Farm has reopened to the public!

The marketing suite has reopened on an appointment only basis to protect the health and safety of staff and customers. Appointments can be made by contacting the sales team on 01629662101, or via the chat function on the Harron Homes website https://www.harronhomes.com/find-a-home/derbyshire/thornberries/.

The development is located at Chesterfield Road, Bentley Bridge, Matlock, DE4 5LZ.
