The changes to Stamp Duty mean new house purchasers across Yorkshire could be thousands of pounds better off.

With 0% Stamp Duty to pay on homes up to £500,000, Harron Home purchasers can expect to pay nothing, saving thousands to go towards a larger deposit, a stunning interior, or perhaps a luxury getaway.

The average saving will be £4,400 per property according to calculations by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), and applies to all houses completed before 31st March 2021.

These rates don’t apply to buy-to-let and second home purchases, but with a lower rate of 3% for properties under £500,000, there are plenty of savings to be had.

Alison Taylor-Shaw, Marketing and Sales Director for Harron Homes Yorkshire said, “These changes to Stamp Duty are going to help a lot of people get onto, or move up, the property ladder.”

Harron is currently operating on an appointment basis only, ensuring the undivided attention of the sales team and a more tailored experience while prioritising the safety of both staff and customers.

Exclusive viewing appointments can be easily made by contacting the sales teams by phone or via the webchat.
