The recent changes to Stamp Duty mean new house purchasers will be thousands of pounds better off.

With 0% Stamp Duty to pay on homes up to £500,000, Harron home purchasers can expect to pay nothing, saving thousands to go towards a larger deposit, a stunning interior, or perhaps a luxury getaway.

The average saving will be £4,400 per property according to calculations by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), and applies to all houses completed before 31st March 2021.

These rates don’t apply to buy-to-let and second home purchases, but with a lower rate of 3% for properties under £500,000, there are plenty of savings to be had. Now Harron home purchasers have the opportunity to save even more money with six months mortgage paid on selected houses, until 31st August 2020.

This is an additional £6,000 saving on a dream house, with the potential to move in before Christmas!

These changes to Stamp Duty are going to help a lot of people get onto, or move up, the property ladder.

Kelly Booth, Marketing and Sales Director for Harron Homes Yorkshire said, “These changes to Stamp Duty are going to help a lot of people get onto, or move up, the property ladder. “We understand that it’s been a challenging time for everyone recently, and we’re really pleased to offer six months mortgage paid in the hope this will allow new Harron homeowners to not only purchase the house of their dreams, but also to furnish and decorate to really make their house a home in time for Christmas.”
