After working all his life as a farmer in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, David Close, 71, and wife Lorraine, decided it was time to take the plunge and enjoy their retirement in their first ever brand-new home.
“This has been our first ever house-move, after living on our family’s farm for all our lives, so it has been a brand-new experience for us”, David said. “Selling our farm was heart-breaking – my family have owed it since 1898, but we have been made to feel so welcomed by everyone at Kings Croft.
