We’ve raised a total of £6000 in donations for our Charity of the Year, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, after a successful Festive Raffle event held in December.

We organised the raffle as part of a range of festive activities to raise money for important causes, including a festive jumper day held across our developments and head office.

Staff members were able to purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a range of fantastic prizes, including a collection of donated goodies provided by ourselves and our business partners.

Since its inception in 2008, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice has been supporting hundreds of children across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of North Lincolnshire, providing an alternative to hospital care for those struggling with chronic conditions.

The organisation extends care to family members of patients, allowing exhausted parents to take some much-needed rest, and supporting parents and siblings during their child’s final moments.

Ellie Brumley, Regional Fundraiser for Bluebell Woods Barnsley and North Sheffield, said: “We’re extremely grateful for all the time, effort, and generosity that has gone into this fundraising. It really does make a meaningful difference, and we can’t thank Harron Homes enough.”

Matthew Barker, Managing Director at Harron Homes North Midlands, said, “I’d like to thank our fantastic staff members for getting involved with our recent fundraising activities, and the generous contribution from our partners at Rightmove. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we’ve been able to donate a sum of money that can be used by the organisation to help those with the most difficult circumstances find some respite.”
