Leading developer of luxury properties, Harron Homes, has announced the creation of a North Midlands division.
The division, based in Barlborough near Chesterfield, will oversee a region covering Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and will also be responsible for some developments in South Yorkshire. As part of the launch, five operational Harron Homes developments in the region will transfer into the new division’s remit, including Sandlands Park in Hucknall and Devonshire Gardens in Crich.
The expansion forms part of Harron Homes’ strategy to place a greater emphasis on the North Midlands region. Plans are in place to significantly invest in land acquisition across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, to secure a continuous and expanding pipeline of land for development. The focus will be on expanding Harron Homes’ portfolio geographically and in terms of variety.
The division will be headed up by Regional Managing Director, Ian Pendlebury, who transfers across from Harron Homes’ existing Yorkshire-based operation. He will be supported by Sales Director Designate, Alison Taylor-Shaw. Around a dozen new staff have been recruited to form the North Midlands team and many more jobs will be created on new developments in the region, from construction workers to sales and advisory roles.
