Housebuilder Harron Homes have recently made a generous donation to the Calverley and Farsley community. Their donation will be used towards the Farsley lights and the upcoming Calverley Millennium Way brochure.

The switching on of the Farsley lights is an annual event that brings local people together. This year the parade takes place on 30th November and is expected to attract a large turnout.

The Calverley Millennium Way brochure is due to go to print in March and will be providing information on the popular seven mile walking route.

The cheque was collected from the Harron Homes offices by local councillors Andrew Carter, Amanda Carter and Rod Wood. Katie Charlesworth was delighted to present the cheque and the contribution was greatly appreciated.

Councillor Andrew Carter CBE said, “I am delighted that Harron Homes have agreed to support Farsley Christmas Lights and the new Millennium Way brochure.  It shows a strong commitment to support local communities.”

Both projects are close to the hearts of the community and Harron Homes is extremely proud of their involvement.

This isn’t the first time that the northern housebuilder has contributed to local communities.  Earlier this year Harron Homes supported various projects in South Yorkshire where they have also built beautiful residential properties.

Giving back is important to Harron Homes as they pride themselves on their attractive developments becoming communities that homeowners are proud to be part of.

Harron Homes are responsible for the desirable Mulberry Manor development in Farsley which comprises of 46 luxurious 4 bedroom detached houses. These high quality houses are built in various styles to suit different needs and have been proving very popular; 4 of the 12 house styles have already sold out.

Located on the Calverley Road, these luxury homes are built to an extremely high standard with attention to detail and superior fixtures and fittings.
