Halloween is fast approaching, and here at Harron Homes, we wanted to make sure that our developments are filled with the best and most lavishly carved pumpkins possible!
To celebrate the spookiest holiday of the year, we threw a Halloween inspired event at our Edenbrook Vale development, featuring a workshop with York Maze resident professional pumpkin carver, Christian Russell. Christian showcased his extraordinary craftsmanship, while helping the residents and guests get inspired before they embark on the daunting task of carving their own pumpkin.
Christian is an artist and sculptor whose specialist material is pumpkins – he is the current Guinness World Record holder for the largest Jack O’Lantern, which he created for York’s Halloween Festival in 2017. His work is incredibly intricate and impressive; a selection of which was on show at Edenbrook Vale.
The day was a fantastic success, with a very welcoming atmosphere. It was great to see the development come together and get creative, and we are really looking forward to seeing the street lit up with each families Halloween creations!
