This year we sponsored the annual Ripon Spring Food, Home and Garden Show at Ripon Cathedral which took place on Saturday 14th April.

The event celebrated local food and gardening, with experts on hand throughout the event. Doug Stewart offered his gardening advice and renowned chefs Lee Rushforth, from the Old Deanery Hotel and Matthew Lockwood, from Restaurant Lockwoods showcased their cooking with a live show for the public to enjoy.

We had a stall at the event, in which nearby residents and visitors were able to find out more information on our new developments, Bishop’s Glade in Ripon and Hockley Croft in Boroughbridge and receive goody bags filled with tape measures, keyrings, pens and pencils and colouring books.

The event was a fantastic day and a great way to meet the locals. The annual event showcases the best of food, home and gardening from around the region and it’s been a pleasure to work with Ripon council to be able to take part.

Bishop’s Glade is Harron Homes’ exclusive development of three, four and five-bedroom properties, located off Doublegates Avenue on the western edge of the beautiful market city of Ripon.

Hockley Croft, meanwhile, is an exceptional development of three, four and 5-bedroom semi & detached houses in the quaint town of Boroughbridge in North Yorkshire. The town offers a variety of shops and has both a primary school and a high school, which specialises in performing arts.
