Brand new kit for young footballersLeading housebuilder Harron Homes has provided a professional new kit for the Crofton under 12s football team.

The boys turned out in style with their new blue and white strips at their last match of the season and won the game 5-2 against local rivals Horsforth Juniors.

The under 12s team coach Mick Dooler, commented, “All at Crofton Juniors Football Club would like to thank Harron Homes for their kind donation of a kit for next season’s under 13s team.

“It’s a great reward for the team and grass roots football needs more local companies like Harron Homes to get involved with their community to help keep teams running which really benefit the children.”

The boys have enjoyed a terrific season and, playing in the Garforth league for the first time, have only suffered one loss in the league in the second half of the season. The new kit will see the current under 12s team through to playing for the under 13s team next season.

Crofton Juniors Football Club has been running since 1966 and children in the team come from all directions in the Wakefield area. Mick Dooler also played for the team from 1987 to 1994 when he first began his footballing career.

Katie Charlesworth, Sales Director for Harron Homes, said: “We’re delighted to support the Crofton Juniors and we wish them every success for next season.”
