Following his success at the Renault Clio Cup in 2016, we are very excited to announce that we are an official sponsor for racing driver Max Coates. Max has continued his relationship with Harron Homes, which begun February 2017, announcing his debut at the 24-hour race in Dubai.

The 23-year-old North Yorkshireman is the final driver announced for the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) team, being a part of Ciceley Motorsports’ first season in the Renault UK Clio Cup.

Ciceley Motorsport is relishing the task of their new GT Team’s first long distance race on the 12th of January, the Creventic 24hr of Dubai. Ciceley Motorsport have transformed two of their Generation 4 Renault Clio UK Cup cars ready for the event which includes new 100 litre Fuel Cells, Suspension, Brakes, Engine Management and Cooling systems which have been modified ready for the heat of the desert.

Joining Max in the new GT’s first long distance race is Adam Morgan, Ciceley Motorsport’s British Touring Car Championship driver, experienced German racing driver, Haraldn Rettich and Adam Hatfield who also brings along a wealth of GT knowledge.

Fans in the UK can follow a live stream of the race online. Max and the team will also be publishing regular social updates via their accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

We have been working closely with Coates to put a deal together for him to race again in 2018, he is hoping to announce his plans shortly after returning from Dubai. Look out for our logo on his car bonnet in Dubai!
