Harron Homes are proud to support ‘Mission Christmas’ – an organisation that raised over £1million and supported over 24,000 kids across South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and Chesterfield last year

Harron Homes are once again proudly supporting one of South Yorkshire’s most impressive charity projects, Mission Christmas. The homebuilders are opening donation centres at their sites across the region encouraging the local community to donate gifts to help support disadvantaged children this Christmas.

The largest annual Christmas Toy appeal in the UK, Mission Christmas is organised by Cash For Kids and 2017 marks Harron Homes second year of being involved with the project. Their support and sponsorship will see Harron Homes’ North Midlands Head Office, Regents Green and Meadow View locations act as drop-off points for gifts, with the North Midlands Head Office also accepting cash donations.

Speaking about this charitable initiative, Alison Taylor-Shaw, sales director of North Midlands said: “We’re delighted to be working alongside and supporting Mission Christmas for a second year. It’s important for companies and organisations such as ourselves to help improve our communities and during the festive period it’s especially important to reach out and help under-privileged children.

“We’d encourage any of our friends, family, customers and members of the local community to give what they can this Christmas and visit one of our donation drop-off points to spread a little festive cheer!”

Last year’s Mission Christmas campaign raised a combined grand total of £1,276,400 in gifts and cash which helped 24,248 local children, shattering the previous year’s record. With 2017 set to be bigger than ever, find out more at http://www.cashforkids.uk.com/mission/
